The impressive column of steam that reaches up to 95 degrees Celsius, which escapes from the subsoil in the middle of the hills, a geyser located in Tecozautla, Hidalgo, Mexico. This natural phenomenon has been used to feed a spa with pools stocked by its healing thermal waters.
Located in the geothermal zone of Uxdejhe, in order to take advantage of this energy in 1955, the First Geothermal Well of Latin America was drilled here, producing electrical energy until the year of 1971, the pipe, generators as well as the structures of the electric plant are still standing.
Later, the geyser turned into a recreational spa with facilities and adequate services to enjoy the hot water that has healing properties so it is very visited throughout the year.
