Monterrey’s Abandoned Railway Station

Dusty, dirty, full of graffiti, forgotten since 1996, today the walls of a symbolic railway station, which gave life to the Industrial  neighborhood, remains in ruins in Monterrey, Mexico.

The promises of municipal authorities to turn their facilities into a Cultural spot, it seems that the wind has taken them away.

This site is one of the bastions of migrants who wait for the “beast” to go in search of their American nightmare. The undocumented have made this station their new home.
