Monument to Popsicle

Many years ago, a gentleman from the western part of Mexico set up his ice cream shop. Over the years, the ice cream shop grew to become an emporium called “La Michoacana”.

Tocumbo, Michoacán, colonized the country with its popsicles, ice cream and fruit flavored drinks. The business has given sources of employment and a high standard of living, which distinguishes this population from the rest of the area. There are Michoacana shops in the US and its next target is Central and South America.

Envy by many, the products of his brand arose,  Mr. Palaver and his line survived, and invaded the whole country with its frozen products. This monument is the evidence of this story.
