In the middle of the chaos that is generated daily in the Polanco area in CDMX is located the Abraham Lincoln Aviary which is a small refuge that houses about 22 species of birds that were mostly rescued by the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA) and sent to this place for its preservation, lodging and exhibition.
You will be able to appreciate a peacock, Australian parakeets, canaries, ducks, geese among other species, visitors are encouraged to promote environmental education as well as informing them what kind of birds they can have at home and which ones not because of their protection.
The aviary is located inside the Lincoln Park located on the Emilio Castelar st. and Alejandro Dumas corner, Polanco neighborhood in Mexico City and you can visit it from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the entrance cost $ 7 per person.
