The fountain is surrounded by four concrete benches covered by tiles, which narrate passages from the book of Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra.
Another curiosity is that in the lateral columns are two bronze figures, to the right is the figure of Don Quixote with the face of the famous painter Salvador Dalí.
And to the left, Sancho Panza has the face of the Mexican muralist Diego Rivera. Unfortunately the original pieces were stolen in 1974.
The tiles date from the year 1921. It is located on the Paseo del Quijote in Chapultepec, nearby Calzada del Rey, access it by Chivatito or Acuario.
