Approximately 18 km from Pinal de Amoles to Jalpan, in Queretaro, on the right hand side begins a dirt road that leads to the entrance of the natural park where is the El Chuveje waterfall.
They are approximately 4 km. Up to this point where you pay a fee of $ 20 per person to enter the area. From this point and following a path you will have to walk approximately 30 minutes to reach the beautiful waterfall 50 meters high.
Depending on the time of year, the waterfall and the river will carry more or less water. In rainy season getting close to the waterfall is almost impossible as you run the risk of getting really soaked. In rainy season you can not enter the river because waters flow fiercely.
The water is cold, but in this area there is no longer the climate of Pinal de Amoles which is cold, this is a warmer area, although if you plan to camp it is always good to wear warm clothes for the night.
