Frogs’ Valley

Before Arareko lake, you will find the Mission of San Ignacio Arareko, and around this is an extraordinary forest of pines, houses and caves, and a set of rare stone formations known as Valle de las Ranas.

Frogs’ Valley is a site in the Sierra Tarahuamara on the outskirts of Creel, Chihuahua; Filled with volcanic rocks whose age dates back more than 20 million years, and which have been carved by erosion.

In addition to the frogs figures you will find other geological configurations such as”petrified” elephants and horses.
